Please Read Before Entering Since it was first launched in 2004, the Pyramid Passion site has proved a phenomenal success, with its in-depth and often quirky approach a big hit with non-League football followers, not only across the UK, but abroad as well.
Although the extensive non-League Ground Guide lies at its heart, eclectic galleries of Dugouts, Floodlights, Rollers & Mowers, Signage and Programmes have proved equally popular. In 2006 the site spawned the best-selling book 'Dugouts'.
The 2007/08 season however, will be one of consolidation for the site.
Due to combination of changing web-design software and the move from a PC to Mac, I have discovered that I can no longer update the site. This has proved very frustrating but equally opens new opportunities.
My Nomad-Online website, which is devoted to non-League football in my home county of Sussex has now been completely redesigned and updated. I have also set up a new website to promote and hopefully further publish my photographs of non-League.
During the coming season I will be co-authoring 'A Season Of Sussex Soccer' with fellow enthusiast and photographer Terry Buckman. Please click on the image (right) to visit the Centre Circle Publishing website. Your support will be greatly appreciated.
Phase One: Concentrating solely on Sussex this season (and less time spent travelling) will allow time for the developement of a brand new website devoted entirely to non-League Football Grounds. This will ultimately replace the Ground Guide on this site, and as you can imagine will be a season-long job. I hope to have the first few pages online shortly.
Phase Two: Once the new website is completed, with new grounds added from the current backlog, and others transferred across from this site, Pyramid Passion will be redesigned during the 2008 close season and will be used solely for featuring the more quirky material as before.
Essentially, all this means in a nutshell is that this site will not be updated during 2007/08. For this I apologise and regret the fact that I have been unable to update all the various promotions, movements, and name-changes that have occurred since 2006/07. I have however, decided to leave it online for the season as I know that it is well-used and hopefully the fact that it is slightly out-of-date for a few clubs (and very out-of-date for a minority) will not be too much of a problem for most visitors.
Please be patient. I assure you that it will be worth it.
